Hello brothers and sisters.
As your newly elected President
I hope everyone is doing well. First, I'd like to thank all of our members that were able to come and vote. I am very excited to be elected President for the 2024 year. I would also like to thank Norm for a great two years.
As we start the new Moose Year things will continue to move quickly. Starting with Cinco de Mayo and the Moose Memorial Service. The Moose Memorial Service is to remember our lost members. If you have lost a loved one you are invited to attend. Then we finish out the month of May with our Memorial Day BBQ. DJ Sam will be in charge of the music from 12-4 and then 60 Mile South from 5-9. I urge you all to attend one of our Monthly meetings and with that I bid you farewell. Again, I am honored to be the President of Moose Lodge 1655.
One Moose !!!!!
President Ivory Hallmon.

As we begin the new Moose year, I want to congratulate those who stepped up to the challenge of running our Lodge for the next year. I'm sure it will be another great year for our Lodge. I also want to thank those who were on the board last year for a job well done.
Now for the MLC committee, as it stands right now, the only offices that are "for sure" filled, are Kevin Mills as Vice Chairman, Mark Collins as Jr Past Chairman, and me Tim Bliss as Assistant Secretary. Our new Lodge President will has asked Randy Powers to fill the Chairman position, and he in turn will fill out the officers on our committee.
We recently hosted the Bull Run 185 Moose Legion Super Celebration, and it was a great success. We had three 1655 members join the ranks of our Lodge MLC, in addition to several from other Lodges in Bull Run 185. Thank you to all who donated their time and energy to make it a success, and their baked goods, and other items for the "silent auction" to raise funds for Bull Run 185.
As always, the MLC will be serving dinner on Friday the 10th, and breakfast on Sunday the 19th, with our monthly meeting on Saturday the 25th.
Fraternally,
Tim Bliss
1655 MLC Asst Sec
THANK YOU,
To all who donated their time to make the Bull Run 185 Super Celebration a success. A job heavy to one, is truly borne lightly by many.
Also, thanks are due to the many people who both donated baked goods and other items for the "silent auction", and those who bid on the items up for auction. The money you helped raise, will help Bull Run 185 tremendously in the new year.
Thank you,
The Fredericksburg Moose Legion Committee
Janet Bliss
